So it seems that people who know me as a graphic designer and illustrator and like my work don’t necessarily assume that my ability to create digital art means ability to draw and paint. Apparently they were surprised when they saw my recent drawing of Ottis Redding that i have created for Sela Bar.
Mark from Sela asked if I could make him a picture of a famous musician ”in my style” that he could hung on the wall in the bar upstairs.
Simon loved it. He loved it so much that he organized me a whole independent exhibition of drawings of famous musicians which is going to take place at the end of january. That is around 12 drawings. That is a lot of work! I don’t mind. I spoke to Julie last night and she said, which i believe is true, that a key to success is get yourself seen. This is my plan.
